Zolpidem

Zolpidem is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs known as non-benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotics.This medication may also contain inactive ingredients that vary depending on the specific formulation.

Shortterm treatment of insomnia (difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep).

Used for adults when insomnia is a significant problem and nondrug therapies have not been effective.

Not intended for longterm use.
