Zocor 20mg Tab (Simvastatin) is a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, also known as a 'statin'. It works by blocking an enzyme in the liver that's crucial in the production of cholesterol. By reducing cholesterol production, simvastatin helps lower LDL ('bad') cholesterol levels in the blood.
Store simvastatin tablets at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep them out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication after the expiration date printed on the packaging.
