Dapagliflozin

A sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (sglt2) inhibitor that helps your kidneys remove excess sugar from your blood into your urine.

Metformin

A biguanide that lowers blood sugar by improving insulin sensitivity and decreasing glucose production in the liver.

Teneligliptin

A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor that enhances the release of insulin and reduces the production of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood sugar.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when metformin alone or in combination with another oral antidiabetic agent does not provide adequate glycemic control.

This triple combination drug works synergistically to manage blood sugar levels. Dapagliflozin increases glucose excretion in urine, metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production, and teneligliptin enhances incretin effects, leading to improved glucose control.

It is usually taken orally once daily with or without food.

Children

Not indicated for use in children.



Kidney

Requires dosage adjustment or contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment. Regular kidney function monitoring is crucial.
