Dapagliflozin

A sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor.

Teneligliptin

A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults to improve glycemic control in combination with diet and exercise.

May be used as an addon to other antidiabetic medications if blood sugar control is not adequate.

Dapagliflozin works by preventing the kidneys from reabsorbing glucose into the bloodstream, increasing glucose excretion in the urine. Teneligliptin enhances the release of insulin from the pancreas in response to rising blood glucose levels and reduces the production of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood glucose.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C). Protect from moisture.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

Typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Urinary tract infections

Genital yeast infections (candidiasis)

Dehydration

Nausea

Headache

Constipation

Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels)

Alcohol Consumption

Moderate alcohol consumption should be discussed with your doctor. Excessive alcohol use can increase the risk of hypoglycemia.



While Driving or operating Machinery

If hypoglycemia occurs, driving and operating machinery should be avoided until symptoms subside.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor.



Children

Not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

Dose adjustment may be necessary in patients with kidney disease. Regular kidney function monitoring is important.



Liver

No dose adjustment is typically needed for patients with mild to moderate liver impairment.
