Clobetasol Propionate

A potent topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching by suppressing the immune system.

Clotrimazole

An antifungal medication that kills the fungus causing the infection.

Neomycin

An antibiotic that kills bacteria that may be contributing to the infection.

Treatment of inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses responsive to corticosteroids, such as:

Atopic dermatitis (eczema)

Psoriasis

Contact dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis

Lichen planus

Discoid lupus erythematosus

Secondary bacterial skin infections, often in combination with a fungal infection.

This combination medication works by reducing inflammation, itching, and redness caused by various skin conditions. Clobetasol propionate reduces inflammation by suppressing the immune response. Clotrimazole fights fungal infections by killing the fungus, while Neomycin tackles bacterial infections by killing the bacteria.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area twice daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes.

Do not use this medication for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Do not use on large areas of skin, and be careful to avoid applying to open wounds.

Rare but serious side effects may occur, such as:

Burning, stinging, itching, or dryness at the application site

Skin thinning

Stretch marks

Acne

Skin discoloration

Increased hair growth

Folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles)

Allergic reactions, such as rash, hives, and itching

Cataracts or glaucoma (eye problems)

Adrenal suppression (the body's natural production of hormones is suppressed)

Cushing's syndrome (a disorder caused by prolonged exposure to high levels of corticosteroids).

Alcohol Consumption

There are no known interactions between this medication and alcohol.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience any side effects that affect your alertness or concentration, avoid driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it can harm the developing fetus. It's also not recommended for breastfeeding mothers as it can pass into breast milk and may harm the baby. Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication should only be used in children under the strict supervision of a doctor, as it may cause serious side effects. It should not be used on children under the age of 2 years old.



Kidney

This medication is generally safe for people with kidney problems, but your doctor may adjust the dosage or frequency of application depending on your individual condition.



Liver
