Isoniazid

Treatment of active tuberculosis (TB) infection, typically in combination with other antiTB drugs.

Used for both drugsusceptible and multidrug-resistant TB.

Zibutol Inh 300mg/800mg Tablet (Ethambutol + Isoniazid) work together to kill Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria responsible for TB. Ethambutol inhibits the synthesis of arabinogalactan, a component of the bacterial cell wall, while isoniazid interferes with the synthesis of mycolic acids, another essential component of the cell wall. This disruption of cell wall formation ultimately leads to the death of the bacteria.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets.

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs, the severity of your infection, and other factors.

The medication is typically taken orally, usually once daily.

It's important to take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor and to complete the entire course of treatment, even if you start to feel better.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness and blurred vision, so it's important to avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication can harm an unborn baby, so it's not recommended for pregnant women. It's also not recommended for breastfeeding women, as the medication can pass into breast milk.



Children

This medication is not typically recommended for children, as there is limited information available about its safety and effectiveness in this age group.



Kidney

Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage if you have kidney problems.



Liver
