Granisetron

Granisetron is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists.

Preventing nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.

Preventing nausea and vomiting after surgery.

Zetron 1mg Injection (Granisetron) works by blocking serotonin receptors in the brain and gut. This prevents the signals that trigger nausea and vomiting.

Store granisetron at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

The dosage of granisetron will depend on your condition and your doctor's instructions.

It is typically taken by mouth, either as a tablet or as a liquid solution.

You can take it with or without food.

Alcohol Consumption

Children

Kidney

Granisetron may be used cautiously in patients with kidney disease.



Liver
