Treatment of partial seizures (focal seizures) in adults and children.

Treatment of generalized tonicclonic seizures in adults and children.

Treatment of epilepsy in adults and children (as adjunctive therapy).

Zenoxa Syp 60ml (Oxcarbazepine) works by blocking sodium channels in nerve cells, thereby reducing the abnormal electrical activity that causes seizures. It's a derivative of carbamazepine, but with a generally better side effect profile.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of unused medication properly as per your local guidelines.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on factors like age, weight, and seizure type.

Usually taken orally, once or twice daily, with or without food.

Do not stop taking oxcarbazepine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Oxcarbazepine may pass into breast milk and affect the baby. The risks and benefits should be carefully considered.



Children

Dosage and monitoring are adjusted for children according to weight and age. Follow the doctor's instructions closely.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems may require dose adjustments. Kidney function should be monitored.
