Chlorpheniramine Maleate

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical released by the body during allergic reactions.

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide

An antitussive (cough suppressant) that works by reducing the activity in the part of the brain that triggers coughing.

Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and allergies, such as:

Sneezing

Runny nose

Itchy, watery eyes

Coughing

Post-nasal drip

Chlorpheniramine maleate blocks histamine receptors, reducing the symptoms of allergic reactions. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide suppresses coughing by affecting the cough center in the brain.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Keep this medication away from children and pets.

Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 tablets or capsules every 4-6 hours as needed.

Children 6-12 years: 1 tablet or capsule every 4-6 hours as needed.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

This medication may be taken with or without food.

Constipation

Stomach upset

Blurred vision

Headache

Urinary retention

Skin rash

Difficulty breathing

Confusion

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of side effects, such as drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication may pass into breast milk and could harm a nursing infant.



Children

This medication should not be used in children under 6 years old unless directed by a doctor.



Kidney

People with kidney disease may need to adjust the dose of this medication. Talk to your doctor about your kidney health.



Liver

People with liver disease may need to adjust the dose of this medication. Talk to your doctor about your liver health.
