Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, particularly when used in combination with metformin or other diabetes medications when blood sugar control is not adequate with metformin alone.

Zava 50mg Tab (Vildagliptin) is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of incretins (GLP-1 and GIP), which are hormones that stimulate insulin release from the pancreas and suppress glucagon secretion from the liver. This leads to improved glucose control.

Store at room temperature, protected from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of unused medication properly as per local guidelines.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your individual health status and response to treatment.

Typically taken orally, once or twice daily, with or without food.

Do not alter the dosage or stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
