Zafimove 50mg Tab (Safinamide) works by increasing the levels of dopamine in the brain, a neurotransmitter that helps control movement. It does this by inhibiting the breakdown of dopamine, as well as by increasing the release of dopamine.
Store safinamide at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C). Keep it in its original container, tightly closed, and out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of safinamide will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.
It is typically taken once daily with or without food.
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets.
The most common side effects of safinamide include dizziness, nausea, constipation, and fatigue.
