Rifaximin

Rifaximin is the active ingredient in the medication.It is a non-absorbable antibiotic that belongs to the rifamycin class of drugs.

Xifapill 200mg Tab (Rifaximin) works by killing bacteria in the gut. Since it is non-absorbable, it does not reach the bloodstream and has minimal systemic effects.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of rifaximin will vary depending on the condition being treated.

It is typically taken by mouth with or without food.
