Amlodipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Metoprolol

A beta-blocker that slows down the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, lowering blood pressure and heart rate.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)

Treatment of angina (chest pain)

Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels, reducing vascular resistance and lowering blood pressure. Metoprolol reduces heart rate and the force of contractions, decreasing cardiac output and blood pressure. The combination provides a synergistic effect, offering more effective blood pressure control than either drug alone.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

It's typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Never abruptly stop taking this medication; gradually reduce the dose under medical supervision.

May cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.



Children

Generally not recommended for children unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician.



Kidney

May need dose adjustment for patients with impaired kidney function.



Liver

May need dose adjustment for patients with impaired liver function.
