Olmesartan Medoxomil: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps relax blood vessels.

Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that also helps relax blood vessels and lower heart rate.

Hydrochlorothiazide: A thiazide diuretic that helps the body get rid of excess salt and water.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with olmesartan medoxomil and amlodipine alone.

May be used as initial therapy in patients likely to require threedrug combination therapy.

This combination drug works by lowering blood pressure through three different mechanisms. Olmesartan medoxomil blocks the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels directly. Hydrochlorothiazide increases urine output, reducing blood volume and blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.

Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Headache

Dizziness

Nausea

Swelling in the ankles or feet

Muscle cramps

Changes in heart rate

Low blood pressure (hypotension)

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Inform your doctor immediately if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.



Kidney

May need dose adjustment in patients with kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function is recommended.



Liver

May need dose adjustment in patients with liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function is recommended.
