Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. This combination medication is usually prescribed when your blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled with one medication alone.
Winbp Am 40mg Tab (Olmesartan Medoxomil + Amlodipine) work together to lower blood pressure. Olmesartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels, while amlodipine relaxes blood vessels. This combined effect allows blood to flow more easily, leading to a reduction in blood pressure.

This medication is usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Common side effects include: headache, dizziness, swelling in the ankles or feet, fatigue, cough.
Serious side effects are rare but may include: angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat), low blood pressure, kidney problems, liver problems.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it can increase the risk of side effects.
This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It is also not known if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
