Westel 5mg Tab (Prochlorperazine) is an antiemetic (prevents vomiting) and an antipsychotic medication. It works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain, which helps to reduce nausea and vomiting. It also helps to reduce anxiety and improve symptoms of certain mental health conditions.
Store prochlorperazine at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Prochlorperazine can harm a developing baby. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It can also pass into breast milk and may harm a breastfeeding baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking prochlorperazine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Prochlorperazine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
