Waltryp 10mg Tab (Amitriptyline) is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA). It works primarily by blocking the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, increasing the levels of these neurotransmitters and improving mood, sleep, and pain perception. The exact mechanisms contributing to its effectiveness in different conditions are not fully elucidated.
