How Vonostrum 20 Tab Works
Vonostrum 20 Tab (Vonoprazan) is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB). Unlike proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), it selectively and reversibly inhibits the gastric H+/K+-ATPase enzyme, reducing gastric acid secretion. This action is independent of the acid environment and therefore, offers rapid onset of action and consistent acid suppression.
