Store vilazodone at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), in a tightly closed container. Protect it from light and moisture.
The usual starting dose of vilazodone is 20 mg once daily.

Serious side effects are rare but can occur. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, headache, dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, dry mouth, and insomnia.
