Fluconazole

An antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of certain fungi.

Tinidazole

An antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body.

Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection) when accompanied by bacterial vaginosis.

Treatment of mixed infections involving both fungi and bacteria.

Fluconazole interferes with the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, leading to fungal cell death. Tinidazole works by damaging the DNA of bacteria, preventing them from multiplying and causing further infection.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage and duration of treatment are determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and the type of infection you have.

The medication is usually taken orally, with or without food.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and complete the entire course of treatment, even if you feel better before the prescribed time.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with tinidazole, as it can lead to a disulfiram-like reaction (nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing).



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Fluconazole and tinidazole may be harmful to a developing fetus. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor before using this medication during pregnancy. Tinidazole can be passed into breast milk and may harm a breastfeeding infant.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children unless prescribed by a doctor.



Kidney

Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems.



Liver
