Fexofenadine

Fexofenadine is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a non-sedating antihistamine that belongs to a class of drugs called H1 receptor antagonists.

Relieves symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and itchy nose/throat.

Relieves symptoms of chronic urticaria (hives) such as skin itching and welts.

Vexdin 30mg Oral Suspension (Fexofenadine) works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms. It does this by binding to histamine receptors, preventing histamine from attaching and causing allergic reactions.

Store at room temperature between 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit). Keep away from moisture and heat.

The dosage of fexofenadine varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual's age and weight. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

This medicine is usually taken once or twice daily, with or without food.

Do not crush or chew the tablets; swallow them whole with water.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness, so it's best to avoid alcohol while taking fexofenadine.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It's important to talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. They can advise on the safety of fexofenadine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.



Children

The safety and effectiveness of fexofenadine in children under the age of 6 months have not been established.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems may need a lower dose of fexofenadine. Discuss your kidney health with your doctor.



Liver

Patients with liver problems may need a lower dose of fexofenadine. Discuss your liver health with your doctor.
