Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that lowers blood pressure by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels. Atorvastatin is a statin that lowers cholesterol levels by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in cholesterol production.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Take this medication by mouth, usually once a day, with or without food.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets.
It is important to take this medication regularly as directed by your doctor, even if you feel well.
Do not stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor.
