Vectibix 100mg Solution For Infusion (Panitumumab) works by binding to the EGFR, preventing it from interacting with growth factors that stimulate tumor growth and survival. This blockade inhibits tumor cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis (programmed cell death).
Store Panitumumab in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Protect from light. Do not freeze. Dispose of unused medication properly.
The dosage and administration of Panitumumab are determined by your healthcare provider and will vary depending on your specific condition, weight, and other factors.
It is usually administered intravenously (IV) over approximately 60 minutes.

The interaction between Panitumumab and alcohol is not well-established. Consult your doctor.
Panitumumab can cause fatigue and other side effects that may impair alertness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
Panitumumab should not be used during pregnancy unless the potential benefit outweighs the risk to the fetus. It is not known whether it is present in breast milk, so caution is advised.
The safety and effectiveness of Panitumumab in children have not been established.
