Vantaxa 5 Tab (Vortioxetine) is a multimodal antidepressant. It acts as a serotonin modulator and transporter inhibitor (SMaTI), affecting multiple serotonin receptors (5-HT1A, 5-HT1B, 5-HT3, 5-HT7) and the serotonin transporter (SERT). This multi-targeted approach is believed to contribute to its antidepressant effects and potentially reduce side effects associated with some single-receptor targeting antidepressants.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Common starting dose is typically 10mg once daily.

Dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerance.

Children

Vortioxetine is not typically prescribed for children.
