Vantaxa 10 Tab (Vortioxetine) is a multimodal antidepressant. It acts as a serotonin modulator and reuptake inhibitor (5-HT modulator). This means it affects multiple serotonin receptor subtypes (5-HT1A, 5-HT3, 5-HT7), enhancing serotonin neurotransmission in various ways, including increasing serotonin levels in the synapse and acting as a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist.
Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional.
The usual starting dose is 10 mg once daily.
Dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerance.
