Valsartan

This is an angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb). it works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin ii, which narrows blood vessels and raises blood pressure.

Hydrochlorothiazide

This is a thiazide diuretic. it works by removing excess water and salt from the body through urine, which helps lower blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension), when other medications haven't been effective or are not suitable.

Heart failure, to reduce the risk of hospitalization.

Valent H Tab (Valsartan + Hydrochlorothiazide) lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the amount of fluid in the body. Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow. Hydrochlorothiazide increases urine output, which reduces the amount of fluid in the body. This combined action lowers blood pressure.

This medicine is usually taken once a day, with or without food.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

This medicine can cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medicine is not recommended for pregnant women. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding.



Children
