Valembic 160am Tab (Amlodipine + Valsartan) works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the amount of stress on the heart. Amlodipine blocks the flow of calcium into the muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels, which causes them to relax. Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels and raises blood pressure. By working together, these two medications help to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow.
