Levocetirizine

A non-sedating antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a chemical released by the body during allergic reactions.

Ambroxol

A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up.

Relief of symptoms associated with allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin rash.

Treatment of cough with mucus (productive cough) in adults and children over 6 years old.

Levocetirizine blocks histamine receptors, preventing histamine from causing allergic symptoms. Ambroxol increases mucus production and makes it thinner, helping to clear the airways.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of levocetirizine + ambroxol varies depending on the age and condition of the patient. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions carefully.

The medication is typically taken by mouth, with or without food.

Do not crush or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it can increase the risk of drowsiness.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication can cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The safety of levocetirizine + ambroxol during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 6 years old.



Kidney

Adjustments to the dosage may be necessary for patients with kidney problems.



Liver

Adjustments to the dosage may be necessary for patients with liver problems.
