Valamac 500mg Tab (Valacyclovir) is converted to acyclovir inside the body. Acyclovir acts by interfering with the replication of the herpes virus. It inhibits the viral DNA polymerase enzyme, preventing the virus from copying its genetic material and multiplying.

Store Valacyclovir at room temperature, between 68-77 degrees Fahrenheit (20-25 degrees Celsius). Keep it out of direct sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze the medication. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets.
