Clindamycin

An antibiotic that fights bacteria by preventing them from producing essential proteins.

Treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV) in women, often involving a combination of bacterial and fungal infections.

Treatment of mixed anaerobic and aerobic bacterial infections (when prescribed by a doctor for specific conditions).

This combination therapy targets a broad spectrum of microorganisms. Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. Metronidazole disrupts DNA synthesis in anaerobic bacteria. Clotrimazole disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage should be strictly as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Do not alter the dosage or duration of treatment without consulting a doctor.

The medication might be administered as a cream, vaginal ovules or tablets, depending on the specific formulation and condition being treated.

Complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence of the infection.
