Methylergometrine

Control of postpartum hemorrhage (bleeding after childbirth)

Prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in women at high risk

Utergin Inj (Methylergometrine) works by stimulating the smooth muscle of the uterus, causing it to contract and reduce bleeding. It also helps to constrict blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the uterus.

Store methylergometrine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.

The dosage and administration of methylergometrine vary depending on the individual patient's condition and medical history.

It is typically administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or orally.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children
