Treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC)

Dissolving gallstones (cholelithiasis) in patients who are not candidates for surgery

Preventing gallstones in people who have had their gallbladder removed

Treatment of certain liver diseases, such as primary sclerosing cholangitis and cystic fibrosisrelated liver disease.
