Uritaz Ds Tablet (Bethanechol) is a cholinergic agonist. It mimics the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, by stimulating muscarinic receptors in the bladder and gastrointestinal tract. This stimulation increases bladder contractions and promotes urination. It also increases gastrointestinal motility.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication that is expired or shows signs of discoloration or deterioration.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and is individualized based on your condition and response to treatment.
It's typically taken orally, but forms for injection exist and are administered only by a healthcare professional.
