Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death. It is effective against a wide range of gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the suspension shows signs of discoloration or spoilage.
