Chlorpheniramine Maleate

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical released by the body during allergic reactions.

This medication works by combining the actions of its individual components to alleviate cold and allergy symptoms. Chlorpheniramine blocks histamine release, reducing allergy symptoms. Paracetamol reduces pain and fever. Phenylephrine decongests nasal passages by shrinking swollen blood vessels. Menthol provides a cooling sensation to soothe minor aches and pains.

Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Follow the directions on the product label or as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not take more than the recommended dose.

Take this medication with a full glass of water.

This medicine can be taken with or without food.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the drowsiness caused by this medication. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known if this medication is safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years without consulting a doctor.



Kidney

This medication should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.



Liver

This medication should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
