Ceftizoxime

Sodium is the active ingredient in ceftizoxime formulations. it's a cephalosporin antibiotic.

Treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms in various parts of the body, including:

Lower respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

Skin and skin structure infections

Intraabdominal infections

Gynecological infections

Septicemia (bloodstream infection)

Meningitis (infection of the brain and spinal cord)

Trizox 250mg Injection (Ceftizoxime) inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell death. This mechanism is effective against a wide range of gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria.

Store Ceftizoxime at room temperature (20-25°C) away from moisture and direct sunlight. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.
