An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps relax blood vessels.
A calcium channel blocker that also helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
A thiazide diuretic that helps the body get rid of excess salt and water, reducing blood volume and blood pressure.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with olmesartan medoxomil and amlodipine alone.
This combination medication works through a synergistic effect of its components. Olmesartan medoxomil blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking the entry of calcium into muscle cells. Chlorthalidone increases urine output, reducing blood volume and pressure. Together, these actions lead to a more significant reduction in blood pressure than any single drug alone.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual patient needs and response to therapy.
The medication is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Alcohol may potentiate the hypotensive effects of this medication. Limit alcohol intake.
May cause dizziness or lightheadedness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or plan to breastfeed while taking this medication.
Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.
