Ciclesonide

An inhaled corticosteroid (ics) that reduces inflammation in the airways.

Formoterol

A long-acting beta2-agonist (laba) that relaxes the muscles around the airways, improving breathing.

Tiotropium

A long-acting muscarinic antagonist (lama) that also relaxes airway muscles, providing additional bronchodilation.

Maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in patients with symptoms.

Maintenance treatment of asthma in patients not adequately controlled by ICS and LABA combination therapies.

This triple combination therapy works synergistically. Ciclesonide reduces airway inflammation, while formoterol and tiotropium both relax the airway muscles, leading to improved airflow and reduced breathlessness. The combined effect provides better symptom control than using the components individually.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C). Protect from moisture and extreme temperatures. Discard the inhaler if the canister is dented or damaged. Consult a pharmacist or physician for proper disposal.

Typically, one inhalation twice daily is used. The precise technique for inhalation should be followed carefully (typically using a spacer device for optimal delivery).

Kidney

Generally well tolerated in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment. Hepatic function should be monitored in those with severe impairment.
