How Trilosar 12.5mg Tab Works

This combination medication works by lowering blood pressure through three different mechanisms. Losartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking the entry of calcium into muscle cells. Chlorthalidone increases urine output, reducing blood volume and thus blood pressure.
