Triamcinolone

Triamcinolone is used to treat a variety of conditions, including:

Tricort 4mg Tab (Triamcinolone) works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system. It does this by binding to glucocorticoid receptors in the body, which then activates genes that produce proteins that reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system.

Store triamcinolone at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep triamcinolone out of reach of children.

The dosage of triamcinolone will vary depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient.

Triamcinolone may be taken by mouth, injected, or applied to the skin.

Do not stop taking triamcinolone without talking to your doctor.

If you miss a dose of triamcinolone, take it as soon as you remember.

If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of side effects from triamcinolone. If you are taking triamcinolone, talk to your doctor about how much alcohol is safe for you to drink.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Triamcinolone can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Triamcinolone can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing infant. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of taking triamcinolone while breastfeeding.



Children
