Insulin Degludec

Insulin degludec is a long-acting insulin analog.It is a synthetic form of human insulin.It is produced using recombinant DNA technology.Insulin degludec is available as a clear, colorless solution in vials or prefilled pens.

Management of type 1 diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents, and children 2 years of age and older.

Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise are not enough to control blood sugar.

Tresiba 100iu Pen Inj 3ml (Insulin Degludec) lowers blood sugar levels by stimulating the uptake of glucose by cells, inhibiting the production of glucose by the liver, and reducing the breakdown of fat.

Store unopened vials and pens in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F).

Once opened, vials can be stored at room temperature (up to 25°C/77°F) for up to 28 days.
