Tremidon Tab (Primidone) is a barbiturate that works by increasing the activity of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a neurotransmitter in the brain that helps to inhibit nerve activity. This inhibition helps to control seizures.
Store primidone at room temperature, between 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit).

Keep primidone out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of primidone will vary depending on the patient's age, weight, and medical condition.
It is typically taken orally, usually 1-2 times per day.

Common side effects of primidone include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, and unsteady gait.
More serious side effects are possible and include:
Skin rash
Yellowing of the skin or eyes
Difficulty breathing
Swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
Mental or emotional changes
Loss of coordination
Hallucinations
Suicidal thoughts
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking primidone as it can increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness.
Primidone can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Primidone can harm an unborn baby. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Primidone is not recommended for children under the age of 18 years old.
