Trazalon 50mg Tab (Trazodone) is a serotonin antagonist and reuptake inhibitor (SARI). It primarily works by blocking the reuptake of serotonin in the brain, increasing serotonin levels and potentially improving mood and sleep. It also has some antihistamine and alpha-blocking properties.
Store trazodone tablets at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C). Keep them away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of trazodone is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once or twice daily, usually at bedtime for insomnia.
It can be taken with or without food, but try to take it at the same time each day.
Do not stop taking trazodone abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Sexual dysfunction
Weight gain
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking trazodone, as it can increase the risk of drowsiness and other side effects.
Trazodone can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Trazodone should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Discuss with your doctor.
Trazodone is not approved for use in children.
