Ambroxol stimulates the production of surfactant in the lungs, helping to thin the mucus. Guaifenesin increases the volume of respiratory tract secretions, making them easier to expel. Levocetirizine blocks the action of histamine, a substance released during allergic reactions, thereby reducing allergy symptoms.
