Torkid 10mg Tab (Torsemide) is a loop diuretic. It works by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the loop of Henle in the kidneys. This leads to increased excretion of water, sodium, chloride, and potassium, resulting in diuresis (increased urine production) and reduced edema.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C). Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

The medication may be taken with or without food.
