Tofisopam

Tofisopam is prescribed for the shortterm treatment of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and social anxiety disorder.

It can also be used to help manage insomnia (difficulty sleeping) when associated with anxiety.

Toficalm 100 Mg Tab (Tofisopam) belongs to a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It works by enhancing the effects of a neurotransmitter called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that helps to calm and relax the nervous system. By increasing GABA activity, Tofisopam reduces anxiety, promotes sleep, and has a calming effect on the body.

Store Tofisopam at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Tofisopam will vary depending on the individual's condition, age, and response to the medication.

It is typically taken orally, with or without food, as directed by your doctor.

Do not abruptly stop taking Tofisopam without consulting your doctor, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children
