Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose

A cellulose derivative that acts as a viscosity-increasing agent and a film-forming agent in ophthalmic solutions. it helps to prolong the contact time of the medication with the eye.

Timolol Maleate

A beta-blocker medication that reduces the production of aqueous humor (the fluid in your eye) thereby lowering intraocular pressure (iop).

Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with openangle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

May be used as adjunctive therapy with other ophthalmic medications.

Timolol maleate, the active ingredient, works by blocking the effects of beta-adrenergic receptors in the eye, which reduces the production of aqueous humor. This leads to a decrease in intraocular pressure. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose acts as a vehicle, improving drug delivery and increasing contact time with the eye.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date printed on the container.

The dosage should be prescribed by an ophthalmologist and may vary depending on individual needs.

Typically, one or two drops are instilled into the affected eye(s) once or twice daily.
