Complicated skin and skin structure infections (cSSSI)

Tigefic Plus Inj (Tigecycline) works by preventing bacteria from making proteins they need to survive. This stops the bacteria from growing and spreading in the body.
Tigecycline should be stored at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
The dosage of tigecycline will vary depending on the type of infection being treated and the patient's individual needs.
It is usually given by intravenous injection over 30 minutes.
The usual dose is 100 mg every 12 hours.
It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
The most common side effects of tigecycline are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
More serious side effects can occur, including:
Liver problems
Allergic reactions
Clostridium difficile infection (a serious gut infection)
