Tide 20mg Tab (Torsemide) is a loop diuretic. It works by inhibiting the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in the loop of Henle in the kidneys. This increases the excretion of water, sodium, chloride, and potassium, leading to a reduction in fluid volume and blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

It's typically taken once daily, usually in the morning.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets unless specifically instructed by your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of dehydration and low blood pressure. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking torsemide.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Torsemide may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Torsemide should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor.



Children

Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney function. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
