Atenolol

Chlorthalidone

A thiazide diuretic that increases urine production, helping to lower blood pressure.

Atenolol reduces blood pressure by decreasing heart rate and contractility. Chlorthalidone lowers blood pressure by increasing sodium and water excretion through the kidneys, reducing blood volume.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness. Limit alcohol intake.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Not usually recommended for children.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
